The Skies the Limit at AMC!

Spending his summer “[experiencing] how the past, present, and future collide,” at the Air Mobility Command Museum, sophomore Justin Richards’ internship proved to be an educational and inspiring one.

He was able to spend time with the veterans who volunteer and hear their stories, as well as the stories of their family and compatriots. Justin was also able to learn a number of educational methods and then employ them, helping teach not only tour groups, but also summer camp students, about aviation.

Outside of the exhibition floor itself, Justin also worked with the Aircraft Restoration volunteers, getting behind-the-scenes insight into the process that goes into caring for the Air Mobility Command Museum’s signature aircraft collection.

Justin so thoroughly enjoyed his experience at the AMC that he plans on continuing his internship there into the coming months.
