An Encyclopedia of Resources for Small Historical Organizations
The Amon Carter Museuem of American Art initiated a large-scale alt text program in order to improve the accessibility of their online collections. “This initiative, which has so far seen more than 500 art assets updated with alt text, will expand over time to incorporate thousands of the museum’s most interesting and noteworthy pieces.”

What are UD Museum Studies Alumni doing today? As the Manager of Education & Public Engagement at the Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch & Gardens Katie Lowe leads initiatives to connect with visitors. "I am currently preparing for the Spring docent training class, which prepares volunteers to lead engaging, visitor-centered tours of the site. The training takes a "flipped" approach, where participants review readings and recorded lectures before we meet so that in each session, we begin applying the content and practicing interpretation through fun activities."
