Poetic Inquiry, Arts-based Activism & Celebrating Black Women’s Resistance

Engaging with Dr. Felicia Henry’s transformative creative project, I’m Literally Taking It Out the Mud, we interrogate the complexities of her research of Black womanhood and the carceral state through the reinstallation of her homonymous exhibition. This course will be a hands-on exploration of ethical exhibition design and curation of personal narratives.
