Two Opportunities for Summer 2023

In cooperation with the UD Museum Studies Program, the University of Delaware Anti-Racism Initiative is generously funding 2 internships for graduate or undergraduate students at local community organizations and historic sites with projects that align with the UDARI objectives. Summer 2023 sites include the Claymont Community Center and the Read House & Gardens. Applications require uploading your resume and a cover letter for each position in which you are interested.  The Summer 2023 application form opens February 20 and closes March 6.  Virtual interviews will be scheduled via Sign-Up Genius and will take place March 14-16. The UD Museum Studies Program is seeking two undergraduate students interested in applying for paid summer 2023 internships at the Jewish Historical Society of Delaware as Community Engagement Initiative Summer Scholars. Students will work with the extensive oral history collection at the JHSD. In addition to transcribing oral histories recorded in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, interns will also and participate in training sessions to promote the participation of volunteers to aid in the transcription, cataloging and indexing of the collection. Learn more about the position and upload a resume and cover letter to this interest form by March 6. Interviews will take place that week to enable submission of CEI application by March 19. Students will be notified of award in early April.
