Lois has a B.A. in history from the College of William and Mary and a master’s degree from the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture. As Associate Curator of Education at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library, she creates and administers programs that strive to connect people to the past–and to each other–through the study of objects that were used long ago. Her current projects include developing tours for individuals in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, coordinating the development of programming based on the field of art conservation, and helping visitors learn to embrace their creative sides through hands-on projects inspired by museum and library collections. She enjoys working with visitors of all ages and relishes any opportunity to introduce students to the museum field.
